It’s the only one I bring with me, and it’s strong enough to cut through the rope. Though we try to avoid cutting our rope at all costs (Michael and I still haven’t had to do this yet) it’s good to be prepared to have a way to do this if there is an emergency of some sort. I’m a big fan of the Petzl GRIGRI 2 belay device. It provides peace of mind and an extra measure of safety in my climbing system.
